NCSC Wants Your Feedback: Help Shape How Their Website Works
The National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) is asking for feedback on how people find information on its website — and as a Cyber Essentials Certification Body, we wanted to pass this on and encourage our clients, applicants, and the wider cyber security community to get involved.
What's happening
NCSC is working with external UX designers, using a tool called Optimal Workshop, to review how visitors navigate ncsc.gov.uk and find the advice, guidance, and resources they need. To support this, they've put together a short survey — it takes around five minutes to complete.
You don't need to be a Certification Body or an Assured Service Provider to take part. NCSC has said anyone is welcome to complete it, so please feel free to share this with colleagues, clients, or anyone else who regularly uses the NCSC site.
No personal information is recorded as part of the survey.

Take the survey
Complete the NCSC website navigation survey: https://navigationtest1.optimalworkshop.com/treejack/7618f96088d08df731387e0dfee2f578
Feedback closes Monday 14th September 2026.
A quick word on link safety
We know that spotting genuine NCSC communications from imitations is something the cyber security community takes seriously — and rightly so. We've verified this survey link directly against NCSC's own website: the same link appears live on their Cyber Assessment Framework page, under a banner reading "Help us to improve our website."
NCSC also notes that if you'd like to double-check the survey is genuine yourself, the link is published on the NCSC homepage — look out for the yellow banner around halfway down the page.
Why it's worth five minutes
NCSC's website is one of the most heavily used reference points for organisations working towards Cyber Essentials, Cyber Assurance, and broader cyber resilience. Feedback like this directly shapes how easily applicants, assessors, and the public can find guidance — from scheme requirements through to incident response advice. If you've ever struggled to find something on the site, this is your chance to say so.
